Seeking a Medical Assistant with experience for our remote Blood Pressure Monitoring Associate Department. Competitive salary and benefit package offered.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred 1-3 year of Medical Assistant work experience in a Cardiology office/Medical office setting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LICENSURE:
MA Diploma or Certification Required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- The BP Monitoring Associate is responsible for accurately measuring, recording, and reporting blood pressure readings in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients or participants on blood pressure readings, healthy ranges, and general cardiovascular health.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish).
- Assist with health surveys, data entry, and documentation of patient information.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated appropriately
- Monitor and flag abnormal or high-risk readings for referral to healthcare providers.
- Participate in wellness calls or remote monitoring initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA or other applicable privacy regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive patient experience.
