Position Overview
We are a healthcare consulting firm seeking an experienced Paralegal / Executive Assistant to support operations, regulatory research, and complex business analysis within the healthcare sector.
This role is designed for a candidate who has already worked in a legal environment and understands the pace, precision, and accountability required in professional legal operations. You will play a critical role in legal research, compliance tracking, document preparation, and industry analysis supporting executives and client engagements.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must already have hands-on, real-world paralegal experience.
Core Responsibilities
Legal & Paralegal Functions
- Draft, review, and organize contracts, NDAs, MSAs, and healthcare-related legal documents
- Maintain legal files, records, templates, and databases
- Prepare compliance-related documentation and filings
- Coordinate with outside counsel on regulatory and corporate matters
- Track deadlines, renewals, and legal deliverables
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all legal and business matters
Executive Assistant Functions
- Manage executive schedules, meetings, and communications
- Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and internal memos
- Act as gatekeeper for priorities, calendar organization, and follow-through
- Help coordinate projects across legal, finance, operations, and leadership teams
- Draft concise summaries, email communications, and action lists
- Organize notes, meeting outcomes, and task tracking
- Run point on logistics for meetings, travel, and deliverables
- Anticipate needs before they arise and remove friction for leadership
Research & Analysis
- Conduct regulatory research related to healthcare operations, compliance, and reimbursement
- Research healthcare laws, statutes, and regulatory guidance
- Analyze healthcare market factors, industry data, and case law
- Prepare written research summaries and executive briefings
- Locate and summarize primary sources and authoritative references
- Support consulting teams with fact-based analysis and documentation
Administrative & Operational Support
- Organize workflows, document requests, and project materials
- Assist with report preparation, data organization, and research attribution
- Support document production and quality control
- Assist with special research projects as needed
Required Qualifications (Strict)
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional paralegal experience is REQUIRED
Formal education alone does not qualify.
Candidates with degrees, certificates, or legal studies programs without at least two years of direct paralegal work experience will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare law or regulatory experience strongly preferred
- Corporate, real estate, or compliance background a plus
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience working with contracts and regulatory documents
- High-level organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage detail-heavy work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Compensation
- $80,000-$100,000 per year
