FME TVET is Approving More Fresh Candidates and Why

Reason why some FME TVET initiative candidates are being approved and others are Pendin. Alright, so this whole FME TVET Initiative approval thing can feel a bit frustrating, honestly. The process isn’t always straightforward, but there are some common reasons why some candidates get approved quickly while others don’t. Let me break it down in a simple, human way:

Why Some TVET Candidates were Not Approved

1. Candidates gets approved to the readily available training centers. There are a lot of candidates who are on ground that are still pending due to insufficient training centers.

2. Some training centers don’t know how to sign the FME TVET Initiative memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enable TVET assign candidates to their centers.

3. Some training center centers applied for the 1 Year VEI program which is mostly undertaken in TVET’s technical colleges instead of the 6 month STC programs that is carried out by individual training centers.

4. Majority of the Master craft persons (MCP) training centers are given little or no trainees even after signing the TVET MOU.

Why Some TVET Candidates Are Getting Approved

FME TVET Initiative has started approving more candidates to be trained in the ongoing training phases, here are reasons why more TVET candidates are being approved:

1. Some candidates who rejected their TVET approval due to distant training centers or some other reason. They are being replaced by new candidates who their applications are still pending.

2. More training centers are such as the MCP are are being approved and signing their MOU, as such being assigned trainees.

3. People who their training centers did not mark them as registered or who failed to visit their training centers are being withdrawn by TVET and assigning pending candidates to those positions.

It doesn’t automatically mean rejection. Many people get approved gradually, depending on batch processing.
